A high-duty bronze rod which contains approximately 9% nickel and produces an exceptionally strong joint on steel alloys, stainless steel, cast iron and copper alloys. The resulting joints are 25% stronger than Sifbronze No 1. It has excellent wearing properties and is recommended for building up worn components like bearings, gear teeth and valve seats. The high strength and good capillary action of this rod make it ideal for joining tubular steel structures as well as brazing cutting tips for the mining and engineering industries.
